"They are pursuing nothing at all," said the switchman. "They are asleep in there, or if they are not asleep they are yawning. And they heard the roaring thunder of a third brilliantly lighted express.
“你在这里做甚么？”小王子问。
“他们又返来了吗？”小王子问道。
“他们是在跟随第一批搭客吗？”小王子问道。
这时，一列灯火敞亮的快车雷鸣般地响着，沿着扳道工的小屋飞奔而过，小屋被震得颤颤悠悠。
Chapter 22
“你好。”扳道工说。
"I sort out travelers, in bundles of a thousand," said the switchman. "I send off the trains that carry them; now to the right, now to the left."And a brilliantly lighted express train shook the switchman's cabin as it rushed by with a roar like thunder.
“你好。”小王子说。
“他们不对劲他们本来地点的处所吗？”
“就连开仗车的人本身也不晓得。”扳道工说道。
"Good morning," said the railway switchman.
"No one is ever satisfied where he is," said the switchman.
And a second brilliantly lighted express thundered by, in the opposite direction.
“他们真荣幸。”扳道工说。
